Support Initiatives

Support Initiatives

Mesa de la Misericordia is based on the Christian principles of service and solidarity with our neighbors, providing basic resources for individuals and families directly impacted by the humanitarian crisis affecting the Venezuelan society.

That is why we have defined the following objectives for the organization:

Support initiatives that help overcome physical and spiritual poverty.

Impact society by defining practical initiatives and implementing them via intelligent and committed coordination.

Cover the needs for food, medicine, personal hygiene and clothing of people, and families in vulnerable situations.

Plant a seed of Faith and Hope in the beneficiaries.

Develop initiatives that will provide the foundation for individuals, families, and communities to commit to education and hard work as means to upward social mobility.

Mercy Bags

Currently, we provide basic baskets that include food, hygiene products, and medicines to the team of volunteers and staff of different institutions managed by the Venezuelan Catholic Church. These are provided periodically to meet their needs, considering that they are at the forefront of community service.

With your support, we can diligently supply the community with much-needed "mercy bags".

Current active initiatives:

State of Zulia:

  • Parishioners and pastoral members of the San Antonio Maria Claret parish
  • Seminarists and faculty members of the Archdioceses of Maracaibo seminary
  • Retired and disable priests with residences in the State of Zulia.
  • Faculty and staff members of the Archdioceses School system
